Nobody wants to be involved in an accident, every day we pray for our own safety especially when we are away from our family to work. But sadly, accidents could not be avoided so the least that we could do is seek medical attention for our fast recovery or seek justice for the accident caused by other people’s negligence.
This is the ordeal faced by an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) who recently seeks the help of veteran broadcaster Raffy Tulfo to complain an electric cooperative company whom he believes should be held liable for the accident that took away his father’s life.

According to Arnel Aurigue, his 70-year-old father who works as a farmer falls into an accident after experiencing an electric shock from a falling electrical post.
The incident that happened last April 30 at Purok 4 Dumalinao, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur, unfortunately, took the life of his old father.
He revealed that the electrical post that caused his father’s accident had previously fallen in the same place before, but the electrical company Zamboanga del Sur Electric Cooperative or Zamsureco who manages the line are irresponsible enough to put it back again knowing that is no longer durable enough to stand still.
Arnel narrated that there was also one incident in their province that a Zamsureco post fall and caused a casualty, but the company only paid P30,000 to the family.
“Tanggap naman namin na aksidente ‘yon, pero ang hindi namin matanggap kasi yung poste na ‘yun tumumba na, ‘yun pa rin yung binalik niyo eh!” Arnel said.
When the program contacted Midsalic Zamsureco 1 Area Manager Dodong Lagura, he immediately put the blame on their line man who according to him is the one who put back the said post, but Raffy Tulfo slammed his alibi and lambasts him to take responsibility since he is the area manager.
“Siyempre yung line man hindi niya ilalagay ‘yon sir kung walang basbas sa mga nakakataas sa kanita na genius din, mas genius kay line man!” Tulfo said.
Lagura tried to have an amicable settlement with Arnel but the victim’s son stood by his decision to file a case against the electric cooperative to teach them a lesson.
